About Me

I have been a hobby photographer for several years. The first time I remember really picking up a camera and thinking about creating "art" I was in middle school. I've always enjoyed drawing and other mediums, but there was always something extra special about photography.

I took a film photography class in college, and really learned what goes into the chemistry of film and developing. It was such a great experience, and gave me a deep respect for where photography started and where it is now.

Now, years later, photography is my full-time job (along with being a mom), and I continue to grow in knowledge and passion everyday. I can't wait to work with you to create art unique to YOU!

I love the warm golden tones of the world. Carson City and the surrounding areas have the best earth-y colors to enjoy. My style is a mixture of posing and organic "lifestyle" photography. You get a little bit of everything during your session, and I work my hardest to get the most genuine smiles for your forever memories, even if that means doing goofy dances or making fart noises for the kids!
